Your First Visit
Most people delay a dental visit because they do not know what is waiting for them. This page describes every step, so you arrive already knowing.
Send the request form or email us. We reply to confirm a day, a time, and how long to expect to be with us. You may also walk in during clinic hours.
You are received at reception and complete a short health record — medicines you take, allergies, and long-term conditions. It takes a few minutes.
The dentist listens to the problem in your own words, then examines your teeth, gums and bite.
If required, we take a digital X-ray and show you what it shows. You will feel very little, and it takes about a minute.
You receive explained options, the stages involved, an expected timeframe and a cost — before you decide anything.
Your smile. Our priority.
Any form of identification you have.
A list of any medicines you are currently taking.
Previous dental X-rays or records, if you have them.
Your questions. No question is too small to ask.

A first visit is usually 30 to 45 minutes, depending on whether imaging is needed.
Cost depends on the examination findings and complexity. You are given an expected cost before treatment starts — nothing begins until you agree.
